Information
Edward was born and raised in Southern California where he spent most of his days drawing and creating. In 2006 he graduated with a BFA from California State University Channel Islands, then moved to Hawai'i for 13 years where he honed his skills and worked as a freelance artist. In 2019 he moved back to California where he continues to make and exhibit art.
Themes explored center around a mysterious gothic dream world with Victorian inspired characters. Sunlight and fire manifest natural motifs, while in the shadows electric artificial light reveal eerie supernatural subjects. Many elements appear futuristic and technological and others are vintage and traditional. Duality is expressed in many forms and is the primary focal point in the works.
